Story

A chemistry teacher diagnosed with inoperable lung cancer resorts to making and selling methamphetamine with a former student to secure his family’s future. Celebrate the fan-favorite series «Breaking Bad» by revisiting some of its most memorable scenes. Jesse Pinkman was originally scheduled to be written out in the 9th episode. During the hiatus caused by the writers’ strike, creator Vince Gilligan, impressed with Aaron Paul’s portrayal of Jesse, as well as everyone who simply liked Paul, decided to reinstate the character and give Jesse’s fate to another character in the first season finale. In the opening credits, the letters in the names of the cast and crew are highlighted in green to represent symbols of chemical elements. However, the «Ch» in Michael Slovis’s name was highlighted in several early episodes, even though Ch is not a symbol for a chemical element.

The opening credits use chemical symbols from the periodic table of elements as part of the names: bromine (Br) and barium (Ba) for the title, none for creator Vince Gilligan (except when he gets a V for Vanadium), one for the cast and crew. All episodes were rerun on an on-demand cable channel in some areas, commercial-free, but with additional footage not included on AMC. Breaking Bad is absolutely, without a doubt, one of the greatest TV shows ever created… I know people say this about a ton of different shows, but Breaking Bad really is universally considered one of the greatest shows of all time.

All you have to do is Google «greatest TV shows of all time» and I guarantee it’s at or near the top of every list you find and there’s a reason for that… Each season is just as brilliant as the last, which everyone knows is nearly impossible for a show to do, but one that Breaking Bad absolutely achieves!! If you’re one of the few people who hasn’t seen this incredible show yet, then do yourself a favor and go watch it right away… you won’t be disappointed!
